Our services include:

  • Psychoeducational assessments (learning, attention, and academic functioning)

  • ADHD assessments (children and adults)

  • Gifted and private school admissions assessments

  • Functional and developmental assessments, including documentation for supports such as the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD)

  • Counselling services for children (11+), adolescents, and adults

We also offer free 15-minute consultations (in-person or online) to help you determine the best next step.

Do you accept insurance? Do you direct bill?

2

Many extended health benefit plans provide coverage for psychological and counselling services. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm your specific coverage, including the type of practitioner and annual limits.

We are currently setting up direct billing in BC. In the meantime, clients will receive a detailed receipt after each session, which they can submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement.

If you have questions about coverage, we are happy to help guide you in determining what your plan may include. Email our insurance specialist, Susi, billing@coastalmindspsychology.com for specifics.
