ADULT ADHD ASSESSMENTS
An ADHD assessment helps you understand how your brain manages things like focus, organization, and follow-through. These skills are part of what’s called executive functioning, often described as the brain’s “CEO.” This area develops slowly and usually isn’t fully matured until around age 25, which is why teens and young adults can sometimes struggle with decision-making or staying on track.
People with ADHD may feel scattered, forgetful, or impulsive. Tasks can feel overwhelming, especially when they involve multiple steps, and it can be hard to start or finish what needs to get done. These challenges can affect school, work, relationships, and daily life.
An ADHD assessment can provide clarity and direction for both children and adults. At Coastal Minds, we offer thorough, evidence-based assessments to help you better understand these patterns and find the right supports moving forward.
